Privacy
Unison Reader collects no data. There is no account and no server of ours. Your books, your audiobooks, your highlights and your place are kept on your iPhone, and when iCloud Drive is on, synced through your own iCloud account, never through us. Listening to the narrator, lining up the text and the generated voice all run on the device. The App Store lists the app as Data Not Collected.
The app connects to the internet only when you ask it to: to download a classic from Project Gutenberg, or to reach your own library server. The first time you add an audiobook, iPhone downloads Apple's speech model. Purchases go through Apple.
